av-hk1x

The AV-HK1X is a mono transformer isolation module for use with a balanced, low impedance source and either a low or high impedance load. Input and output connections are provided on XLR jacks with gold-plated contacts.

Galvanic isolation between the input and output is provided by a studio quality audio transformer. The AV-HK1X breaks the “ground loop” connection that can produce hum in a sound system. The input connector shield does provide a radio frequency ground return, thereby preserving system immunity to radio interference.

av-dc4

The AV-DC4 is a mono transformer-coupled audio divider/ combiner module for use with balanced, low or high impedance audio inputs and outputs. Input and output connections are provided on XLR jacks with gold-plated contacts. The AV-DC4 features four identical channels. Each channel may be used as either an input or as an output. Two XLR jacks are provided on each channel. The female jack is used if the channel is being used as an input; the male jack is used if the channel is being used as an output. The shield (pin 1) connections of both XLR jacks on a particular channel are normally connected to ground. The GND LIFT switch on each channel is used to disconnect the shield from circuit ground at audio frequencies.

Galvanic isolation between each of the channels is provided by a studio quality audio transformer. The AV-DC4 breaks the “ground loop” connection that can produce hum in a sound system. The input connector shield does provide a radio frequency ground return, thereby preserving system immunity to radio interference.

Ebtech Line Level Shifter
Hum Eliminator,
& Bal to Unbal Convertor

The Line Level Shifter is designed to increase or decrease signal voltage (-10dBV and +4dBu) without adding noise. The Line Level Shifter™ also converts back and forth between balanced (+4dBu) and unbalanced (-10dBV) signals automatically. The Line Level Shifter also contains Ebtech’s Hum Eliminator technology to break ground loops that cause AC hum. Rack mount 8 channel & small 2 channel box available.

Ebtech Hum Eliminator,
& Bal to Unbal Convertor

The Hum Eliminator is designed to eliminate 60 cycle hum (60Hz AC signal) caused by Ground Loops. It is also designed to convert unbalanced lines to a true balanced lines. Why? Unbalanced lines are more susceptable to picking up electrical noise and RF interference.

humxsm

The Hum X filters out unwanted voltage and current in the ground line that cause ground loop hum while simultaneously maintaining a solid, safe ground. You no longer have to run your audio signal through any type of filtering which can result in loss of volume, tone or both. Some devices simply remove the ground, which is never safe! Simply place the Hum X on the end of the power cord of the equipment that has a Ground Loop and plug the Hum X into any standard 15 amp outlet. Ground Loop is gone and audio signal remains intact. Easy to use, easy to install and completely effective! The Hum X is the safest way to get rid of ground loop hum.

ru-bda3

RDL RU-BDA3 /RU-MDA3
Active mic or line D.A.

The RU-BDA3 & RU-MDA3 arethe ideal choice where XLR connectorized audio distribution is needed. Input connections are also provided on the rear panel full-sized barrier block. Both the front-panel input XLR connector and the rear-panel input terminals are active at all times. Gain trim is provided on a front-panel control, accommodating a range of line-level signals. The outputs are 150 ohms balanced, designed to drive short or long balanced lines. Requires 24VDC

fp-ubc6

RDL FP-UBC6
Active Unbal to Bal Convertor

The FP-UBC6 is the ideal choice for multiple channel connectorized conversion from unbalanced to balanced audio. This module features six identical channels, making it ideally suited to converting consumer 6-channel surround sound into the professional audio format. Each input channel is unbalanced, connected through a gold-plated phono jack. Each output is balanced. All outputs are connected through XLR jacks with gold-plated pins. A gain trim potentiometer is provided for each channel.

The normal gain setting is indicated for the trimming potentiometer. This setting produces a +4 dBu balanced output for a -10 dBV unbalanced input. The gain is adjustable -5 dB to +10 dB from the normal gain. Therefore, a +4 dBu output signal is possible from input signals ranging from -20 dBV to -5 dBV.
Requires 24VDC
