ATS Communications is a sales, service and manufacturing company founded on the notion that audio and video production people would rather purchase their equipment from people that actually
understand how, why and under what situations that equipment is used from first hand experience; from people who can actually answer operational and situational questions without simply referring
to the users' manual. In other words, from production people!
My personal message to you:
Our clients know that they can rely on us to answer questions about audio topics in general and trust us to guide them on making equipment selection decisions based on their particular working
needs and budget. They know that they can draw on my 30 years of experience in professional audio, and my own high standards in selecting or manufacturing the equipment we offer for sale.
My guiding principal is this: If I wouldn't use it myself (and I evaluate almost everything I sell), I definitely would not sell it to you! This does not mean that just because I personally might prefer one microphone over another, that I wouldn't use the other under the right circumstances. It does mean that there are some mics that I certainly would not use (due, perhaps, to quality, performance, reliability or other issues), and I wouldn't want you spending your money on them either.

Shipping:
We will ship by the least expensive carrier available, according to your delivery requirements and preference, if you state them. Our preferred carriers are:
We charge you the carrier’s standard book rate for shipping and insurance. We do not mark it up.
If you prefer, we can have a carrier bill your account.
We accept Visa & Mastercard and we can ship C.O.D. Repeat customers can apply for a credit line for invoicing.
Warranty’s:
We extend all manufacturer’s warranty’s, and if necessary, will assist you with securing warranty service from the proper manufacturer.
All ATS Communications manufactured and ATS Distributors’ provided products carry a one year warranty against defects in manufactured parts & labor (except batteries, chargers & video monitors, as warranted by original manufacturer; and RAM Mount parts which include lifetime coverage.).
ATS Communications does provide certain repair services on our premises and are authorized by certain manufacturers to provide repair services under warranty. Unless otherwise advised, all repair service and customizing we do (ie: connectorizing microphones, etc.) do not affect manufacturer warranty status.
Owner’s Background
Martin Atias, founder and owner of ATS Communications has been involved in professional communications since 1974. After learning the ropes at his College radio station, he began his
career at the top FM radio station in New York City as an on-air production engineer (actually, he started by answering the request lines). From there, he has been in the music recording industry as a
studio designer, installer, maintenance and recording engineer; In network and local radio as a systems designer, installer, maintenance and production engineer; In television production facilities
as an audio consultant, maintenance and production engineer; In television and radio as a studio and field production engineer;
While freelancing in 1989, ATS Communications was created to fill the need for a reliable, friendly
and convenient local equipment vendor dedicated to the broadcast video production community in the Washington D.C. area.
Marty continues to do various types of production work, from live sports & entertainment to corporate video and Web & Sat casts, to Satellite News releases, to music recording. He also
designs and installs sound systems for many applications.

Today, with over 30 years experience in audio engineering, and a client record that includes virtually every major television network, the Olympic Committee, many major corporations, non-profits and
trade associations, Marty continues to provide top notch production services.
Production
ATS Communications provides audio production services for small and large productions, from
location audio for interviews to studio based scripted production, to truck based sports and entertainment production and Satellite Media tours. Multiple IFB & mix minus for remote feeds are
well understood. When necessary, our database of qualified audio people can be called upon to crew any job.
ATS Communications provides our unique Cool Cam camera boom as a service for hire with trained operators for live and taped production using our broadcast quality camera or your MiniDV /HDV camcorder.
System Design & Installation
With many years of systems design and installation work performed, ATS Communications provides services for conference facilities, board rooms, media centers, production facilities and
houses of worship. We can update or renovate older systems as well as design new ones.

ATS Communications is one of the few D.C. area vendors specializing in field production
equipment while also supplying studios and corporate A/V equipment needs. Being an authorized dealer for over 3 dozen manufacturers gives us access to a wide range of products. Coupling that
